Operator
The Role: Machine Operator Assistants – Quality Control are important team members. Their main work is performing quality control checks on goods produced to ensure they meet production standards. Team members in this role also package finished goods and when needed they supply material to the machines.
Advancement: Ongoing training is available for those who show interest in learning more. A long-term career can be built here with opportunities to move into Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Operator roles based on quality work.
Schedule & Team Orientation: Work runs on a Monday – Friday schedule of 8 hour shifts. All staff work day, afternoon and night shifts. Staff rotate every 2 weeks on the same schedule with their team, which builds cohesiveness and camaraderie.
Required:
- Ability to learn to perform accurate quality control checks.
- Basic math and measurement skills; an assessment will be given.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Attention and ability to work safely.
- Physically fit; able to lift to 55 lbs. / 25 kg.
- Work boots required. ($100 / year allowance provided).
